Privacy Policy for BassDaunito
BassDaunito is designed as a self-contained plane-table reading instrument. Your reading sessions, Sortie routes, SightMarks, EarlyMarks, and personal statistics stay on your device.
1. On-Device Storage
All volumes you moor, pages you log into Charge, resection bearings, station progress, and unit preferences are stored locally on your device. You can erase all recorded sorties, marks, and statistics at any time using the data reset control in the Settings sheet inside BassDaunito.
2. Camera Permission for ISBN Capture
When adding a book in the Catalogue sheet, you may optionally use the camera to scan an ISBN barcode on a physical volume. Camera frames are processed live on your device solely to detect the barcode number and are never recorded, saved, or transmitted.
3. Book Catalogue Lookup
If you search for a book title or ISBN in the Catalogue sheet, the query text or barcode digits you enter are used only to fetch bibliographic details (title, author, and page count) so you can moor a new Sortie. You can always enter volumes manually or use built-in shelf presets offline.
4. No Tracking or Advertising
BassDaunito does not include third-party advertising, behavioral analytics, or user profiling. We do not sell, rent, or share your reading history.
